Kelsi & Al are a stunning couple and have the most adorable little girl, Isabelle. She’s now a one-year-old and has the cutest, spunky personality. For the past three years, I have been honored to document their wedding day, maternity session, newborn session, and each session amazes me. It’s rewarding to photograph the milestones of ones life and share these joys through images. For this family session, we went to the Carlson’s Orchard & Bakery in Winsted, Minnesota. If you haven’t visited this apple orchard, put it on your to do list! ;) You won’t be disappointed. They have amazing soup & salads, apple pie, apple crisp, and apple everything…oh, and I can’t forget the apple cider! :)
Apple orchards are the perfect setting for a family photo session and if you know me, I absolutely love, LOVE, the apple season! I worked at an apple orchard growing up, so it brings back fond memories of apple picking, and of course, that wonderful, sweet aroma of cinnamon mixed in with an apple crisp, baking in the oven on a chilly, Autumn day. Sigh! Who knew that the sight and smell of an apple could bring such joy to my heart. Anyways, this session did just that. It was a joy filled evening, topped with a honey crisp apple! Enjoy!
